Join us for a fun and challenging hike in the beautiful White Mountains of New Hampshire! The hike is approximately 9.3 miles long with 3000 feet cumulative elevation gain. We'll (carefully) tackle a very steep rock-scrambly section on the ascent to Franconia Ridge, and then traverse the ridgeline to the summits of Mt. Flume (4328') and Mt. Liberty (4459'), taking in some magnificient views, weather-permitting. Participants need good physical conditioning for a full day hike which includes some very steep and strenuous terrain, and be comfortable with hands-and-feet rock scrambling. We plan to go out for a group post-hike dinner to relax, recap, and refuel before the drive back. Limited to 6 adventurous souls.
